The 85th Boys & 39th Girls Show-Me Showdown Class 3 Championship Game
Strafford Indians vs. Hogan Prep Academy Charter Rams
The Hogan Prep Rams routed the Strafford Indians by a score of 61-46 to win the Class 3 MSHSAA Show Me Showdown on Saturday afternoon. The Rams shot just 45% but received a solid long range game from Broderick Newbill who went 3-5 from beyond the arc and Robert Thompson who went 3-3 from long range territory. Also helping the Rams to the title was solid ball control all afternoon which in turn helped the Rams defense hold the Indians 16 points under their season average of 62 points per game. On the other side of the ball, the Indians were led by Anthony Peter's and Jared Yarberry's 12 points as well as Connor Wilson's 10.
